Electronic Arts has announced that Battlefield 2042 received crossover cosmetic items with Mass Effect.
The Galactic and Scoped & Dropped bundles are now available for purchase in Battlefield 2042. They include new cosmetic items that make your character resemble a soldier from the Mass Effect series. These items arrived in Battlefield 2042 as part of the 8.9.0 update, released today, June 17.
The Galactic bundle costs 1750 BFC while Scoped & Dropped costs 2,000 BFC. Alternatively, players can purchase them together in the Citadel bundle for 3,000 BFC, providing savings compared to individual purchases. BFC can be bought with real money or earned through progression in the Battlefield 2042 Battlepass.
Battlefield 2042 is also receiving a Mass Effect-inspired mode called “Conquest Ascension.” “Outsmart the competition and train for warfare in a new century. Employ Ascension tactics with enhanced squad tracking and observation mechanics to secure a future for humanity that any commander would be proud of,” reads part of its description.
Previously, Battlefield 2042 had a crossover with the Dead Space franchise.
