Dear PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 players,
As we look toward the future and plan the next big leap for Beat Saber, we’ve made the decision to discontinue updates for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 starting June 18, 2025. Our passion for virtual reality remains unwavering. We’re excited about the possibilities ahead and what we can deliver to Beat Saber fans who have journeyed with us these past seven years.
What this means for you:
- This update won’t affect your ability to keep playing Beat Saber, and you’ll retain access to previously purchased content on PlayStation platforms.
- Beat Saber will remain purchasable on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 devices, and you can still play or buy songs/music packs released before June 18, 2025. However, no new content will release on these platforms after this date.
- Additionally, beginning January 21, 2026, multiplayer will no longer be available in Beat Saber for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
- Cross-buy will remain active between the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 base game.
We’re grateful for your incredible support over the years and excited to share what’s next for Beat Saber.
