SEGA has released a financial report containing new information about its games.
SEGA Game Sales
First, SEGA updated the sales figures for Sonic X Shadow Generations and Metaphor: ReFantazio.
As of March 31, 2025, the hedgehog’s game sold 2.3 million units. During the same period, the Atlus RPG reached 2 million units. Previous figures had been 2 million and 1 million respectively for each title.
Unfortunately, SEGA provided no sales numbers for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, suggesting the title failed to reach 1 million units.
SEGA’s Future Games
In the same report, SEGA confirmed release windows for upcoming titles.
As previously known, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will launch on September 25. However, other recently announced games remain further from release.
Persona 4 Revival, the Persona 4 remake, and RGG Studio’s Stranger Than Heaven won’t release until during or after Q3 of fiscal year 2027. This translates to sometime after October 2026 on standard calendars.
Accordingly, it wouldn’t be surprising to see one or both titles launch in late 2026 or 2027.
