Pearl Abyss has confirmed the official launch of the native Black Desert Console version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for next Thursday, June 26th.
This new edition brings faster loading times and an enhanced gameplay experience for adventurers on consoles worldwide.
Those who began their journeys on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will have a smooth transition to this new version, with all progress and history preserved, allowing them to continue their adventures on the latest generation of consoles.
Additionally, Pearl Abyss revealed plans for new content landing on consoles, with a major update arriving on July 10th to introduce the powerful Deadeye class and the mysterious new region of Ulukita. These additions will be the first to leverage the raw power of current-gen console hardware.
Deadeye is the 29th class arriving in Black Desert, bringing the American Western theme to the game. Armed with revolvers, a shotgun, and a rocket launcher called Lil’ Devil, Deadeye combines frantic gunplay with a gripping storyline. Originating from Nova Vitória on a parallel Earth, she entered the Black Desert universe through Marni’s experiments. She expands the narrative scope while introducing dynamic new gameplay mechanics.
