Hypersonic real-time aerial battles on the System Super 22 hardware!!

Air Combat 22 is an aerial shooting game released by Namco (Bandai Namco Entertainment) in 1995.

This title showcases evolved 3D graphics and striking animations using the “System Super 22” arcade board, an upgrade from the “System 22” architecture used in numerous legendary 3D games.

Engage in missions from the thrill of shooting down various enemy aircraft to electrifying operations requiring advanced techniques across multiple aerial combat scenarios. Become a hero of the skies!

The Arcade Archives (ACA) series faithfully recreates classic arcade masterpieces while staying true to the originals.

You can customize game settings to your preference, such as adjusting difficulty levels, and even recreate the nostalgic atmosphere of period-accurate CRT TVs.

Additionally, you can compete for high scores with players worldwide through online leaderboards.

Beyond the “Original Mode,” “Hi Score Mode,” and “Caravan Mode” included in the Arcade Archives series, the Arcade Archives 2 series will add new features such as “Time Attack Mode” and “Network Mode.” In “Time Attack Mode,” players compete to defeat the final boss as quickly as possible starting from the first battle. This mode focuses on completion speed regardless of score. “Network Mode” lets you play against other users online. Note that “Time Attack Mode” and “Network Mode” may not be implemented in some games.

Functionality has also been significantly enhanced. Multiple save slots have been implemented instead of just one, alongside a rewind feature enabling replay attempts and a quick-start option for jumping straight into gameplay. VRR support has also been added for more precise recreation of the original arcade experience.

Enjoy the legendary arcade masterpiece through Arcade Archives 2, now more enjoyable and intuitive than ever.
