Farming Simulator 25: Highlands Fishing offers the popular franchise from publisher and developer GIANTS Software another sought-after form of farming: aquaculture. Available as an Expansion and an Edition (included with the base game), Highlands Fishing invites players to build a farm and operate a fishing boat in the township of Kinlaig, inspired by Scotland – a lush paradise of verdant hills and open waters.

Kinlaig: A Wind-Swept Environment
Rocky valleys, covered by rough grass and shrouded by clouds stretching down to the sea: Kinlaig, inspired by the Scottish Highlands, entices farmers and aquaculturists to take to the sea and plow the soil in a history-rich environment, enjoying authentic architecture such as centuries-old castles as well as new construction projects.
Diving into Aquaculture, Fishing Along the Coast
Fishing on land and at sea allows aquaculturists to breed, raise, and harvest a variety of fish. Venturing onto the water offers a productive new way to gather resources and another tranquil refuge beyond fields, forests, and stables. Casual beach fishing, with pole in hand, completes the serene picture of coastal living.
Onions, Fish, and Highland Cattle
While salmon and rainbow trout populate Kinlaig’s salt waters, a new crop becomes available for cultivation on land: onions. Specialized equipment is included in the expansion, and the fleet of vehicles and implements grows with four new brands and over 20 new machines. Manufacturers Monosem, Can-Am, Agri-Spread, and GT Bunning join the franchise.
Farming Simulator 25 is available for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A Year 1 Season Pass is available and includes three packs and the expansion.
