Publisher Atari and developer Digital Eclipse announced the DLC for Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration, “The Namco Legendary Pack.” The release is scheduled for 2025 at $7.99.

This expansion tells the story of the early partnership between the two companies and will be available later this year for $7.99. The Namco Connection will feature the best-selling PAC-MAN for Atari 2600, along with a collection of titles for the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, and Atari 7800, including GALAGA, DIG DUG, XEVIOUS and GALAXIAN. Players can play any game directly or explore the collection chronologically through an interactive timeline featuring developer interviews, archival documents, period photos, and more.
Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC via Steam and GOG, and Atari VCS.
Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition
Additionally, Atari and Bandai Namco announced a product line celebrating Pac-Man’s 45th anniversary, including a yellow Atari console (via VGC).
The Atari X Namco collection is a collaboration between Atari and Bandai Namco. The centerpiece is the Pac-Man Edition for the Atari 2600+, a re-release of the iconic console in bright yellow. Pricing will be $169.99.
The console bundle also includes Pac-Man: Double Feature, featuring Pac-Man 7800 – a new arcade-style version of the original game – and Pac-Man 2600, the title’s first home console release.
During San Diego Comic-Con, Atari will distribute 1,000 exclusive Golden Box editions of Pac-Man: Double Feature. Each $99.99 collector’s set includes a 2-in-1 cartridge in one of five Ghost or Pac-Man colors (red, blue, pink, orange, or yellow), plus a sticker and limited-edition pin.
The collection will also feature wireless CX40+ joysticks in 5 colors representing Pac-Man, Inky, Pinky, Blinky, and Clyde. The joysticks retail for $39.99 each.
