A remake of the original Silent Hill is currently in development by Bloober Team, the developer behind the Silent Hill 2 remake. Konami announced the news in June.
Now, according to leaker Dusk Golem, the remake has been in development for about three years. If true, this means the game could release sooner than anticipated.
Here’s what they stated:
The Silent Hill 1 Remake, as far as I know, began development about 3 years ago.
If I had to guess about Silent Hill’s release timeline (everything is subject to change due to the whims of game development. Heck, that whole original plan got delayed by a few years + F and Townfall swapped places, for example, and honestly, kudos to Konami for not rushing them out and giving them time to cook), but right now if I had to guess based on the current situation, it’d be:
2025: Silent Hill F (obviously)
2026: Townfall
2027: Silent Hill 1 Remake
2028: Internal SH Game
(2/2) places as an example, & honestly good on Konami not just rushing them out & giving them time to cook), but right now if I had to guess based on the current situation it'd be;
2025: Silent Hill f (obviously)
2026: Townfall
2027: Silent Hill 1 Remake
2028: Internal SH Game— AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem (@AestheticGamer1) July 24, 2025
