Build a Rocket Boy, the studio behind MindsEye, had a very rocky launch for its game. Not only did it experience layoffs, but it also received heavy criticism for its bugs.
However, the developer hasn’t given up on the game and is working on fixes. Unfortunately, the Hitman crossover mission, previously scheduled for July, has been delayed with no new release date.

It’s been just over a month since MindsEye’s launch, and we’re deeply grateful for your support and detailed feedback. Your input continues to shape our ongoing efforts to refine the game.
In June, we committed to delivering a great experience for all players. Since then, we’ve released three updates—each delivering bug fixes and performance improvements across all platforms based on your reports and suggestions. We hope you’re already noticing the impact of these changes and remain dedicated to building on this progress. Moving forward, updates may be less frequent but will focus on delivering more impactful changes.

We apologize for delaying the Hitman × MindsEye mission originally planned for July. We look forward to launching this exciting crossover when ready and will share updates as soon as possible.
Update 4 – August (PC & Console)
Arriving in August, Update 4 brings new performance improvements, bug fixes, and community-requested features including:

- Player-created content will be instantly available on Play.MindsEye for PC users

Scheduled for September, Update 5 will continue delivering performance and gameplay improvements across all platforms, plus refinements to core game mechanics.
