During EVO 2025, SEGA and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio revealed a new trailer showcasing gameplay for the new Virtua Fighter.
The trailer highlights the series’ familiar gameplay but introduces new mechanics like a parry system, along with dramatically finishing a round. The footage features the characters Akira and Sarah as an initial showcase.
Further details about the title will be shared at Tokyo Game Show 2025 in September.
The new Virtua Fighter currently has no official title, confirmed platforms, or release date, though a PS5 launch is expected at minimum.
