As happened with previous trilogies, Koei Tecmo has quietly announced that the three titles in the Atelier Ryza series will soon be discontinued from digital stores, such as the PS Store.
Players will be able to purchase the new “DX” versions (and the Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack) when they launch in November.
In other words, the original versions of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, and Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key will leave Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation platforms between November 12-13, with their “DX” replacements releasing the same day.
For consumers interested in the series, not much will change. Essentially, a better version will be available for purchase. But if you want digital access to the original games, you must acquire them before November 12.
Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack will launch for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on November 13 worldwide.
