Gradius Origins Massive Collection Now Available on PS5

Konami announced that Gradius Origins is now available for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC (Steam).

Description:

This collection brings together 18 versions encompassing all 7 arcade games in the series, including the first time the Gradius III AM Show version has appeared on consoles.

Several new convenient features have been added to the games, including save states, the rewind option, and invincible mode. The new Training Mode allows you to adjust settings like restart points, loop counts, and power statuses to help you hone your skills to perfection. There’s also a gallery feature that includes the games’ soundtracks, various images from each title, and much, much more!

Save and load your game data at any time.

Rewind
Rewind whenever you want during gameplay, anywhere.

Easy Mode
This mode makes the game easier by reducing the hitbox size of your ship.

Invincible Mode
This mode makes your ship impervious to enemy shots, only counting the number of times it’s been hit.

Training Mode
This mode allows you to improve your skills by adjusting settings such as restart points, loop counts, and power statuses.
* This mode is only available in certain game versions.

Online Rankings
Add your score to the rankings after reaching a game over.
Reach the top of the rankings to submit a game replay with your score.

Sound Gallery
Listen to the original soundtrack for each title, as well as arrangements from previously released CD albums.

Visual Gallery
View development materials and the games’ original instruction cards.

Gradius Guide
Check your scores and a gallery of enemy characters from each of the original titles.

You can also adjust various settings on each game’s Options screen, including the arcade board’s DIP switches, screen filters, and recreation of bugs from the original software release.
