Falcom has released a new Japanese trailer for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter.

Trails is a story RPG series that celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2024. To commemorate this significant milestone, the first entry in the series, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, is being fully remade!
Liberl Kingdom, the setting of the story, has been completely recreated in 3D, and all distinctive characters including Estelle and Joshua have been refined.
Beyond exciting, stress-free combat allowing seamless switching between “Field Action” and “Command Battle” modes, each character’s Crafts and Arts are dynamically showcased! Preserving the scenic imagery of Liberl Kingdom, the game features diverse missions and countless side activities that let players fully experience traveling through the realm from their own perspective.
After their father Cassius disappears, Estelle and Joshua embark on a journey across Liberl Kingdom. Along the way, they meet and part with new companions. What awaits them at journey’s end…?

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is the first arc in the Trails franchise, with three titles released between 2004-2007: The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd.
The story unfolds in Liberl Kingdom, a small nation in southwestern Zemuria. In a world advancing through “Orbment Energy” technology, Estelle and her companion Joshua aspire to become Bracers who protect civilians and maintain regional peace.
The game portrays their journey’s myriad encounters and farewells, along with the young heroes’ growth.
