Bandai Namco has revealed a new comparison trailer highlighting the visual and gameplay improvements for Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, detailing how this remake is bringing back one of the franchise’s iconic titles.
The video demonstrates how boss battles and diverse environments have been faithfully reimagined for a new generation of players. Each setting has received visual enhancements and gameplay tweaks that preserve the original’s charm while delivering a smoother, more engaging experience.
Originally launched in 2002, Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac returns with upgraded visuals and refined gameplay. Players take control of Pac-Man on his quest across Pac-Land to recover stolen golden fruit. The new trailer showcases modernized 3D platforming mechanics, including jump aim assist, plus a completely overhauled battle against Clyde (Blinky) the Killer Toad. Updated appearances for Spooky and the Ghosts are featured, alongside enhanced versions of some of the game’s six environments.
Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac will launch on September 26th for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.
