Electronic Arts has unveiled the official EA SPORTS FC 26 ICONS class, featuring the most requested ICONS lineup by the community to date. This year’s class includes a mix of legendary stars from recent generations who inspired fans worldwide with their world-class talent, including Brazilian athletes such as Marcelo and Sissi. Fans who pre-order the EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Edition by August 26 will receive one of fifteen ICONS (non-tradeable) at Early Access launch.

With 7 of the 12 new ICONS having recently retired, the FC 26 ICONS class allows fans to celebrate and play with the legends who helped shape the modern game. Players can utilize the new ICONS class with Competitive Playstyle in Football Ultimate Team™ mode, featuring more responsive dribbling, faster passing, increased stamina, and unlimited control.
For FC 26 Clubs mode fans, some new ICONS will be among the 13 historical athletes who inspired different Archetypes available to customize playstyles. Each new Archetype will include unique trait sets and a new customization experience giving fans more control over developing their Virtual Pro.

Fans who pre-order the EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Edition by August 26 will receive 1 non-tradeable Founding ICON from a selection of 15 athletes, including FC 26’s new ICONS class – plus favorites: R9, Thierry Henry, and Steven Gerrard. The Founding ICON will be available starting from Early Access launch and will upgrade to the Achievement version in November.
