Blizzard may have leaked the next class for Diablo IV via an internal build name.
According to website Wowhead (via IGN), the Paladin class—perhaps the most requested by fans since the game’s launch—may arrive soon, possibly as part of Season 11. This follows the discovery of the word “Paladin” within a build name pushed to Blizzard’s servers (“2.5.Xpaladin67961”).
The Paladin remains one of the most iconic classes in Diablo II, so its addition to Diablo IV would likely delight longtime fans.
It’s worth noting that a new class is expected for Diablo IV‘s second expansion, currently scheduled for 2026.
