Publisher refint/games and developer Falcom have delayed the crossover fighting game Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga “by a few months.” This means the title will no longer release during this Brazilian winter [Austral summer].
Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.

Hello, adventurers and fans!
It’s been a while since our last update on Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga, and we’d like to thank everyone for your patience during this period. Development has progressed steadily, but an unforeseen circumstance beyond our control arose, preventing us from continuing work and forcing us to reassess our release schedule and make necessary adjustments.
While our original target was a [Brazilian winter] Austral summer release, after careful consideration, we’ve decided to postpone the game by several months. This will give us the time needed to ensure all game aspects, from gameplay to presentation, meet the quality we strive for and that fans deserve.
We understand this additional wait is disappointing, but we’re confident this decision will result in a more robust and refined launch experience. In the coming weeks, we’ll share further details, new screenshots, and additional information!
