Build your City on a new scale, creating entire districts with different purposes: industrial, scientific, and more. Ensure all parts of the City work in unison, like cogs of a giant, resource-hungry machine.
Raise the Council House where you’ll forge laws for your growing metropolis and navigate between different factions and their visions for the future. Make decisions about your City’s progress, face their consequences, and above all, keep the City safe from internal turmoil.
THE FROST NEVER ENDS
The game is set 30 years after the apocalyptic blizzard in Frostpunk. The Earth remains overwhelmed by endless frost and harsh, icy weather. You play as the leader of a resource-hungry metropolis where expansion and internal conflict are inevitable realities. It’s up to you to make decisions about your City’s future and face the consequences.
In Frostpunk 2, you can build your City on a new scale by creating entire specialized districts. Ensure all City components function cohesively and research technologies that will steer your citizens’ progress.
THE CITY MUST NOT FALL
“Frostpunk 2 remains a game about the City and its society,” states Jakub Stokalski, Co-Game Director and Design Director at 11 bit studios. “But internal turmoil, fueled by growing social disparities, means players will face new kinds of threats. We’re using this post-apocalyptic setting to tell a meaningful story about human ambition. Because ultimately, what can destroy us isn’t nature itself—it’s human nature.”
NAVIGATE FACTIONS AS STEWARD
As the City expands, creating and passing new laws becomes increasingly complex. Citizens gradually divide into factions with competing visions for the future.
Ideas collide within the Council—sometimes violently. Your role as Steward demands preventing these conflicts from toppling the city. Manage emerging crises while guiding humanity toward a new destiny.
