IllFonic and Gun Interactive have announced Halloween, a single-player and multiplayer horror franchise game. The title will launch on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. A release date has yet to be announced.

See a description:

On Halloween night, 1978, no one is safe from Michael Myers. Become the Boogeyman or face the embodiment of evil in Halloween.

It’s Halloween night, 1978. The innocent families of quiet Haddonfield are preparing for the holiday, unaware of the night of terror that awaits them. Assume the shape of evil as Michael Myers or save your neighbors as a Haddonfield Hero in Halloween, the ultimate asymmetric horror sandbox.

As Michael, players don the mask, become the Boogeyman, and pursue innocent residents with relentless obsession. With a terrifying arsenal of abilities, Michael uses shadows and stealth to sate his bloodlust. But this doesn’t mean Haddonfield will fall without a fight: frightened citizens can call the police and even fight back when threatened, forcing Michael to proceed cautiously. And for the first time, fans of the original film will experience the terrifying events of “The Night He Came Home” through Michael Myers’ eyes in a standalone single-player story mode.

As a Haddonfield Hero, your mission is to alert residents of the impending evil and help them escape before they fall victim to Michael’s relentless pursuit. In dynamic, unpredictable 1v4 asymmetric multiplayer matches, heroes must gear up with weapons, everyday objects, and strategic knowledge to confront an unpredictable and nearly indestructible enemy. Convincing citizens and calling the police strengthens neighborhood patrols. To even the odds, you can command and equip NPCs with weapons, creating precious escape opportunities.

This immersive horror sandbox is powered by Unreal Engine 5, featuring dynamic gameplay systems, realistic NPCs, terrifyingly detailed visuals, cinematic lighting, and endless scares for you and your friends. The asymmetric night of terror returns in Halloween.
