On September 23rd, the veil between Sanctuary and the Burning Hell tears apart in the Season of Infernal Chaos. Find powerful Chaos Armor and unlock deadly Chaos Boons to wield incredible power and build-shaping possibilities. Mephisto’s presence weakens the barrier between worlds, allowing the Corrupt Council to escape from Hell and spread destructive Chaos Rifts throughout Sanctuary. Dive into the Seasonal Questline to uncover the Corrupt Council’s plans to sow destruction across the lands.
This season brings permanent updates to the Eternal and Seasonal Realms for Infernal Hordes with Chaos Waves and Bartuc, Lord of Chaos – a new boss to master.
Season of Infernal Chaos Overview
Earn Seasonal progression through Viz-Jaq’taar Veneration by sealing Chaos Rifts during Infernal Tides and in Nightmare Dungeons. Secure Magic, Rare, and Legendary Chaos Boons through Seasonal Reputation Board progression. Obtain unique Chaos Boons by defeating Bartuc on Torment tiers. Enhance your Chaos Boons by gaining Infernal Distortion, earned by sealing Chaos Rifts and defeating Chaos Monsters.
Chaos Armor can be obtained from various in-game sources, while Bartuc serves as an excellent source in Torment tiers with guaranteed drop chances in Torment III and IV.
