Jan Dolski is an ordinary worker facing impossible odds. After an emergency landing on a distant planet, lost and alone, he appears to be in a hopeless situation. Jan’s only hope for survival is to get more help for his mobile base… but how? Adapting as he goes, Jan uses the local substance Rapidium to create alternate versions of himself: THE ALTERS.
Have you ever thought how your life might be different if you’d chosen a different path in the past? Who would you become? Jan Dolski is about to face the answers to these questions, making his situation all the more terrifying. Each of the Alters possesses a different personality and background because their paths stem from specific changes in Jan’s life.
To return home, Jan must get used to his Alters while confronting crucial choices he made in the past. The decisions based on this will eventually put someone’s life in danger.
The planet Jan landed on is slowly rotating and will soon face the full brightness of a giant sun. Radiation levels will quickly reach critical points. Surviving on this cruel planet is a death race, and Jan must keep his home base moving. Easier said than done, as the planet is completely hostile and filled with obstacles he must overcome.
To traverse the desolate landscapes, he needs food, fuel, and other vital resources. Luckily, the base is equipped to extract them from the planet’s surface. The only problem? Finding the necessary resources in time is challenging, and the clock is ticking.
The Alters launches on June 13 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. The title will be available on Xbox Game Pass. A demo is available.
