QUByte Interactive and Tentacles Interactive have announced that Curse Rounds, a frenetic 1-bit action roguelike, will launch on August 14 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Switch. The title is already available on PC.

In a monochromatic, gloomy world, each round of Curse Rounds challenges players to choose the lesser of two evils. Unlike most roguelikes, cards in Curse Rounds aren’t for upgrades or improvements—but rather for selecting what theoretically makes your journey less arduous.
Over 60 “Cursed Cards” exist—ranging from increasing enemy speed to halving player health before entering combat.
