Publisher Arc System Works and developers Drecom and SuperNiche, a company founded by former Nippon Ichi Software president Sohei Niikawa, have announced Demon’s Night Fever, a new RPG. The release is scheduled for 2026. Platforms were not specified.
“The concept of this game is to embrace evil,” said Niikawa during the Arc System Works Showcase when announcing the game. “This game allows you to intensely enjoy all kinds of wickedness. There’s a game I made in the past that I’ll surpass with this title.”
“Now, I’ll reveal this game’s genre—it’s very, very long—are you ready? ‘Enemies? Allies? Kill, Kill, Kill! The More You Die, The Stronger You Become! Speedrunning RPG with Speed Boost Simulation’. Got it? I know it sounds absurd—I feel the same saying it—but this game is so outrageous we hope you’ll enjoy it,” he explained. “I didn’t bring gameplay footage today, but development is in its final stages at a critical juncture. We’re preparing to launch an unparalleled, extraordinary game. Get ready to experience it!”
