Questline

In Season 9, players travel to Cerrigar to find Druid Bryona, who must confront choices made by Horadric mage Donan. Help Bryona protect her home and uncover Horadric Vaults secrets along the way.

Horadric Enchantments

Use powerful spellcraft abilities to customize and forge Horadric Enchantments. By combining potent elements, players can create intense magic matching their playstyle.

Nightmare Dungeon Changes

To permanently evolve Nightmare Dungeons, Horadric Strongholds, Resurgent Nightmares, and new Nightmare Dungeon affixes will be available going forward.

– Found in Nightmare Dungeons, Horadric Strongholds are micro-dungeons offering better rewards and more fearsome mummified enemies;

– Escalating the peril, Resurgent Nightmares plunge players into a chain of three progressively difficult (and rewarding) Nightmare Dungeons. Battle through all three to face Astaroth’s Exalted version;

– When battling Astaroth, he dismounts from the Rage Amalgam, splitting into two separate bosses. The Amalgam resurrects after a short time while its master stands, so apply precise tactics to destroy Mephisto’s acolyte.

Other Permanent Features

Season 9 also introduces keyboard & mouse support on consoles and new Unique items for each class.

Season Journey

Progress through the Horadric Sins Season Journey to earn rewards like Dante the hound pet, who barks fiercely and boasts an infernal bite.
