Imagine DayZ or Rust, but you’re a duck. A persistent-world survival game featuring PvP, PvE, crafting, base building, and ducks wearing hats wielding weapons.
Welcome to DUCKSIDE: Persistent World Survival… QUACK!
Over 10 million ducks are killed by hunters yearly—a statistic that would be much lower if ducks were combat-trained. Enter DUCKSIDE, a persistent-world survival game like DayZ or Rust… except you’re a duck, and so is everyone else.
Duck Life is Hard
Get those webbed feet moving or take flight across a vast island where resources and valuable treasures await any duck lucky enough to find them. But stay vigilant, as both fellow player ducks and the featherless ones (who call themselves “humans”) will stop at nothing to keep loot out of your wings.
Are You a Chicken? No, You’re a DUCK.
DUCKSIDE isn’t just about survival; it’s about entering the mind of a duck. Being a duck. Feeling the cold steel of a machine gun against your feathers. And the peace of mind that comes from relaxing after a long day in a house built from junk scavenged off a corpse.
Put Your Ducks to Work
Gather resources, craft weapons and tools, and build shelters to protect your loot and your life.
How do Ducks hold weapons and tools, you ask? Who cares? With a crafting system this deep and robust, they had to adapt—or they’d just float in ponds all day waiting to become part of that ’10 million’ statistic.
The Sky(box) is the Limit
Are you really a duck if you can’t fly? No, you’re a penguin or something. So to fully embrace your duck-hood, we’ve introduced innovative controls with sophisticated flight mechanics—glide, hover, speed dive, and dogfight!
A World Worth Fighting For
A live duck can keep its gear safe and its squad alive. A dead duck? Not so useful.
So fortify up—build nests to protect, store, survive, and gain tactical advantages—but know this: nothing is truly safe. Every structure can be destroyed, every hideout raided, and every migration could end in death.
There’s No Such Thing as Too Many Ducks
Go solo or form a Flock with other ducks to build, explore, fight, and survive together. Ducks are fiercely territorial, so encounters with rival ducks will often—quite literally—make feathers fly. Not to mention all those “humans” around the island who find shooting ducks far more fun than being shot by them. You’ll need to deal with them too.
WILL YOU BE A HELPLESS DUCK OR A BIRD OF PREY?
