Flame Keeper Launches July 25 on PS5: Action Rogue-lite Adventure Begins

Publisher Untold Tales and Polish developer Kautki Cave have announced that Flame Keeper will launch on July 25 for PS5. The title has already been released on other platforms.

Flame Keeper is a fast-paced action rogue-lite where you must restore the Eternal Flame, stolen by dark creatures. Fight diverse monsters across various biomes and wield blistering combat abilities. Easy for a coal like you.

Become Ignis, a special coal tasked with liberating the world of Orbis from dark forces. Luckily, you’re trained in deadly combat! Master fighting techniques, upgrade skills, brave increasingly hostile worlds, and reignite the Eternal Flame.

Adapt using versatile moves like punch combos, fiery dashes, area-of-effect kicks, and devastating finishers. But caution: energy management is vital. Each biome features unique enemies and escalating challenges. Consult the Bestiary to unlock intel on enemy strengths/weaknesses.

Brute force isn’t enough. Customize Ignis with passive abilities and techniques. Collect seeds from defeated foes to unlock skills, complete tasks for Runes enabling passive upgrades. Combine them for countless builds!

To restore the Flame, scavenge remnant energy in each realm and channel it into stage Bonfires. Crucial catch: this energy doubles as your HP. You must drain it to power Bonfires yet need health to explore. Find your balance.

Each level begins in Vulpis Village – a brave coal’s best allies. Rest here, enhance abilities, and rebuild structures using collected resources. The village evolves as you progress, unlocking new gameplay features each run.
