PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY Launches July 11 on PS5 & Switch With New Features

PATAPON is an action-adventure game where you use the rhythm of 4 Mystic Drums to command cute and mysterious creatures known as Patapons. In this game, you become the God of Patapons and lead them on a grand adventure to Earthend!

Every Patapon has unique traits and classes (jobs), like Hatapon, who stands at the center of the squad waving their flag and leading allies; Tatepon, who protects others with their large shield; and Yumipon, who attacks by shooting arrows. Each Patapon’s role in battle varies by their class, allowing you to build a unique, well-rounded army to face the many challenges ahead!
In this game you become the God of Patapons and lead them on a grand adventure to Earthend!

The two games originally released in 2007 and 2008 return in this remastered collection!

2) The game features 2 key elements: simple controls and strategic combat!
Controls are incredibly simple—composing rhythmic beats with four drums [Pata (←), Pon (→), Don (↓), Chaka (↑)].

Additionally, there are deep strategic elements, like using the right battle commands during specific situations and building armies featuring Patapon classes (jobs), resulting in gameplay that’s easy to grasp yet highly challenging!

Create or enhance Patapons using various items. Or make them even stronger by gathering materials from stages and minigames. The game includes 400 weapons and gear to upgrade and customize your Patapons!
Personalize your army as you wish and create a unique squad to overcome the many enemies and challenges throughout the game!

4) New support features!
While the core elements remain unchanged, new quality-of-life features have been added for a more enjoyable gameplay experience!
New features in this release allow players to adjust default difficulty between Easy, Normal, and Hard; modify button-timing tolerance; and keep the drum icon displayed permanently!
