The stage is set. Two Kyotos, past and present.

Here, a story centered around bizarre murder cases unfolds across both timelines.

In present-day Kyoto, detective Daiki Katsuki, who believes in traditional investigative methods, teams up with reclusive genius engineer Rio Quinn, developer of “Echos of Kyoto,” to solve the case.

Meanwhile, in Meiji-era Kyoto, passionate young detective Masayoshi Nagahama and Saki, a geisha from the entertainment district, join forces to uncover the “origin” of events that persist into the present.

Two eras. Two investigation duos. One truth.

Experience a deep, suspenseful drama that transcends time.

Story

Can the past rewrite the future?

The turbulent Meiji era. A series of murders shook Kyoto. Mysterious patterns drawn in the victims’ blood. The case remained unsolved, casting a long shadow over history. A century later in Kyoto, detective Daiki Katsuki investigates a brutal murder. This case bears a chilling resemblance to the one that rocked Meiji-era Kyoto. The key to the investigation lies within the augmented reality immersion “Echos of Kyoto.” Its developer was brilliant young engineer Quin Rio. The two entered the recreated Kyoto of 100 years ago to solve the case.

“Echos of Kyoto.” Through cutting-edge AR contact lenses, this augmented reality experience transports people into a breathtaking recreation of Kyoto from a century ago. The rebuilt city has captivated many with its nostalgic charm. Yet as the truth behind the incident draws near, “Echos of Kyoto” begins to transcend mere history. The boundary between recreation and reality blurs, and a question arises…

Is this the work of a copycat killer? Or is the past truly invading the future?

A future held hostage by the past. A past bound to the future.

When past and future intersect, the world begins to tremble.
