Herobeat Studios, developer of Endling: Extinction is Forever, has announced Rewilders: The Lost Spring, an open-world creature-collecting action roguelite with Metroidvania-style progression. The game will launch on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam. A release date has not been announced.

Rewilders: The Lost Spring is a Soulslite third-person adventure with roguelite elements where you play as Abi, a lone survivor journeying through a poisoned world to find her missing family.

Discover corrupted biomes and confront twisted creatures born from a broken society.

Each run drops you into a dynamic open world teeming with hostile enemies. Use Metroidvania traversal tools like a hang glider, grappling hook, or wall-running abilities to reach new biomes and explore.

Rebuild ecosystems through action: restore wilderness zones, reactivate springs, and bring life back–one biome at a time.

As you heal the world, its original inhabitants return. Hantu are rewakened fauna–once-extinct native creatures–who join your struggle and expand your abilities. By feeding and leveling them up, you craft your own team and playstyle, adapting combat strategies each run.

At your spacecraft base, cultivate plants using seeds and resources gathered during exploration to unlock permanent upgrades, evolve companions, and prepare for the next descent.

But beware–every victory comes with a choice. Will you restore the memory of the world that existed… or let your hatred reshape it into something new?
