RUSHING BEAT X: Return of Brawl Brothers Confirmed for PS5

Developers City Connection and Clear River Games have announced that the side-scrolling beat ’em up action game RUSHING BEAT X: Return of Brawl Brothers will be released for PS5 alongside the previously announced PC (Steam) version. The release date remains unannounced. A new demo is available for PC as part of Steam Next Fest.

Action

With easy-to-use auto-combos, even beginners can enjoy exhilarating action. Chain your own combos using various actions like counters, follow-up strikes, and weapon attacks. Most actions can be canceled with dashes or jumps. Master the cancel system to unleash even more consecutive attacks!

Tossing techniques vary through button commands. Launch target enemies airborne—if thrown into the background, you can destroy normally unreachable objects for item collection opportunities!

Successfully landing hits or taking damage fills your Rage Gauge. At MAX level, enter Rage Mode for enhanced attack/defense capabilities plus access to the “Beat Rush” finishing blow. Overcome evil with righteous fury!

Chapters

Battle across diverse locations—shopping malls, slums, subways, and research centers—while fighting to uncover the truth and save the city once more! Tackle side missions featuring stage-specific challenges utilizing actions and environment tricks!

Characters

With multiple characters ranging from series veterans Rick Norton and Douglas Bild to newcomers, mastering each fighter’s unique style is paramount to success, with more unlocks as you progress. Two-player co-op adds strategic depth: mix-and-match characters to find your perfect team!

At the Tuff E Nuff dining car—doubling as a stage checkpoint—combine held food items. Creating meals with three food types boosts healing potential and may grant special effects! Whether fighting or feasting, combos reign supreme!
