Shadow Labyrinth Gets Massive PS5 Update With Bug Fixes, QOL Improvements

Greetings, players, UGSF soldiers, and Swordsmen—thank you for playing Shadow Labyrinth. With your invaluable feedback and our ongoing testing, we’ve begun working on game updates.

Our focus is to fix bugs, adjust difficulty, improve the onboarding experience, and implement general quality-of-life enhancements for smoother gameplay, better delivering on the core exploration and combat experience alongside PUCK.

Our first patch will address:

  • A bug where the Swordsman might not appear when entering the “Red Crystal Room” in the “Barren Volcano” area
  • A bug where playtime could be miscalculated during rest mode
  • A bug causing progression to stall on certain Labyrinth stages
  • A bug making the game unplayable if the Swordsman dies touching a boss exactly as it transforms into GAIA
  • Minor UI fixes

Additional adjustments planned for later implementation:

  • Making the PERK HP Limit Boost benefit permanent
  • Reducing ORA and resource material costs for vendor items in the “Barren Volcano” area
  • Decreasing ORA required for emergency escape devices and intel acquisition
  • Adding retry options for Labyrinth stage boss battles
  • Increasing starting life counts across Labyrinth stages
  • Adjusting time limits to ensure fairness against the four G-HOSTS in Labyrinth stages:
    • Red Bragza: Terrias-Gilba
    • Blue Bragza: Terrias-Juno
    • Pink Bragza: Terrias-Boz Rag
    • Orange Bragza: Terrias-Valou
  • Other minor adjustments

These updates are slated for late August to early September, targeting all platforms. We’ll share more details as we approach those dates.
