Skate Reveals Massive Customization, 100+ Song Soundtrack & Live Service

The Skate team shared details in The Grind: Vol. 5, offering an in-depth look at customization, music, and more.

What’s coming:

  • Customization is at the heart of Skate, allowing players to create and personalize their skater head-to-toe to express their unique style. Various cosmetics and unlockable rewards await you during progression, or in optional premium content.

  • The soundtrack features over 100 songs, ranging from hits by emerging artists to lesser-known tracks, helping players discover new tunes while skating through San Vansterdam. Every session feels fresh and energetic, and like San Vansterdam itself, the soundtrack will evolve each season. Here are some artists you might hear in-game:

    • Turnstile

    • Denzel Curry

    • Little Simz

    • Skeggs

    • Earth Wind & Fire

    • MF Doom

  • A seasonal Live Service model will bring varied themes, new world features, challenges, cosmetics, music, plus the new “skate.Pass” which includes free and paid tracks with rewards and Seasonal Challenges to keep players skating.
