Seed Lab has released a new trailer and information for the life simulation game Starsand Island, showcasing the romance and relationship system.
See the details below:
Players will skate, cycle, drive, and pilot various vehicles—including skateboards, rollerblades, cars, scooters with (and without) sidecars, and even a paraglider—across the island’s lush meadows, forests tinted in green and amber, shimmering sandy beaches, and azure-tinted surrounding sea. Amphibious vehicles will also be available, enabling seamless land-to-water transitions that further expand exploration horizons.
Island exploration won’t be a solitary affair: many vehicles feature passenger seats for NPC friends and pets—and even real-life companions via Starsand Island’s multiplayer gameplay. The game’s photo mode will let players capture memories and moments throughout their adventure.
After showcasing the game at this year’s BitSummit in Japan, Seed Lab also revealed more details about Starsand Island’s character and vehicle customization. Its vehicle modification system enables full personalization—cars can be repainted with new colors and detailed with various decals, rims, and interior finishes.
Starsand Island also offers extensive player customization, including adjustable facial features, skin tones, makeup, hairstyles, and a vast wardrobe of clothing/accessories to create innovative, bold new looks for island living. Additional customization options will arrive post-launch alongside expanded social and collaborative gameplay, with more multiplayer details coming in later months.
Starsand Island launches this Brazilian summer for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam.
