Stellar Blade Update Adds New Music Tracks & Hard Mode to PS5

Shift Up has announced that Stellar Blade received an update for PS5 and PC featuring several new additions.

The highlight includes new in-game music tracks, but you can check the full patch notes below (via X):

Shared update details for PS5 and PC!

      • As thanks for our players’ love and support, we’ve prepared 7 new tracks arranged from existing background music.
        Visit “The Last Gulp” in Xion to receive “A Gift of Gratitude from Enya”
        – Don’t Forget Me (Trio)
        – Flooded Commercial Sector (Trio)
        – Clock Tower (Trio)
        – White Night (Trio)
        – Wasteland – Reboot (Trio)
        – Oasis (Trio)
        – Don’t Forget Me (Refresh)
      • “Hard Mode” is now available from the start. “Hard Mode” is also unlocked for Boss Challenge.
      • Fixed an issue during “Where Is the Fantastic Bait?” quest where bait thrown from underwater boxes occasionally became unobtainable.
      • Fixed an issue where the camera would occasionally drift away from the intended position during “Demogorgon” battles, preventing aiming.
      • Fixed an issue where the artbook wouldn’t appear on the title screen after completing the first playthrough.
      • Fixed an issue where entering Boss Challenge with the “Planet Diving Suit (6th) V3” equipped would revert to “Skin Suit”.
      • Fixed an issue during Scarlet boss fights where QTEs could cause abnormal character movement and camera behavior.
      • Fixed an issue where the game occasionally crashed when entering Photo Mode.
      • Various other bug fixes.

PC // Patch 1.2.0 Update Details!

      • Alongside patch 1.2.0, Stellar Blade items are coming to the Steam Points Shop!
        – Emblems, Trading Cards, Animated & Static Backgrounds, Stickers and more!
      • If saving fails during gameplay, a save failure message now appears on the top-left center of the screen.
      • Added a save file recovery feature. If a save becomes corrupted, a backup can now be restored when starting the game.
      • Graphic options menu now shows current VRAM usage alongside max estimated usage.
      • Fixed an issue where logo rotation keys didn’t work in Photo Mode with AZERTY keyboards.
      • Fixed an issue where EVE’s weapon would occasionally disappear on some PCs after using Burst Skills in the NIKKE minigame.
      • Players who obtained the “Planet Diving Suit (2nd)” via PlayStation Network account linking can now purchase “Design Pattern: Planet Diving Suit (2nd) V2” at Roxanne’s store during New Game+.
