Naughty Dog has announced that a version 1.6 update is now available for The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC.
This update brings multiple bug fixes and visual improvements, addresses several controller-related issues, and more.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered (PC) – Patch Notes 1.6
- Fixed an issue where inputting codes for safes or bank vaults could occasionally cause numbers to be skipped when using mouse and keyboard controls.
- Resolved a rare progression blocker that prevented some players from firing weapons due to invisible guns during the car chase sequence with Ellie and Jesse.
- Fixed a bug preventing Exclusive Fullscreen and V-SYNC settings from being saved when changed in the game’s Display Settings menu.
- Addressed a crash that could occur in the Epic Games Store version when viewing No Return mode Daily Run leaderboards or after completing a Daily Run.
- Fixed a bug involving gyro-enabled Motion Aiming activation when using Steam Deck or compatible Steam input controllers.
- Resolved a controller issue preventing the bow from having dynamically adjustable draw tension, which could cause failure during slow trigger releases.
- Corrected a bug causing DualShock 4 controller speakers to emit subtle noise during haptic feedback scenarios when using a DualSense controller.
- Fixed an issue where irregular seams appeared around corpses in snow environments when Screen Space Shadows were enabled.
- Addressed a bug causing flickering, corrupted textures on aquarium floor surfaces.
Fixed an issue corrupting foliage near the aquarium’s background tank when Particle Density was set to medium or high. - Resolved an issue where using upscaling combined with High Contrast Mode shifted the scoped rifle UI to the left corner.
- Fixed a bug preventing Tommy’s sniper rifle scope glint from displaying during the “The Marina” chapter when Scope Lens Flare was disabled, hindering player sightline assessment.
- Addressed an issue where Abby’s name wouldn’t appear on the chalkboard until Owen finished writing it when Effects Density was set to very low.
- Fixed a bug making shotgun incendiary projectile visual effects unclear regarding environmental and enemy impacts when Effects Density was set to very low.
- Corrected an animation bug allowing Abby to sprint during “Ground Zero” chapter flashbacks inconsistently with the original narrative.
- Multiple ultrawide cinematic visual bug fixes.
