If you’ve ever dreamed of the sensation of riding a high-powered superbike, knee scraping the asphalt, with the engine roaring and accelerating like a rocket, with VRider SBK coming to PlayStation VR2 on June 27, that dream is about to become reality.

See it in action.

What’s in VRider SBK?

VRider SBK captures the thrill of Superbike racing on PlayStation VR2. Whether racing for the podium or just for the adrenaline, VRider SBK puts you at the heart of the officially licensed FIM Superbike World Championship. Lean into every curve and accelerate down straights at over 320 km/h on 14 real tracks, including Cremona and Estoril, alongside 23 official riders.

Ride five elite machines: Ducati, BMW, Kawasaki, Honda, and Yamaha using next-gen gesture controls designed for immersive VR. Challenge global PvP multiplayer, master the solo Tournament mode, or race against the clock in Ghost events. With its unique “simcade” gameplay blend, VRider SBK delivers breathtaking speed, relentless realism, and pure two-wheeled excitement.

Built Differently for PS VR2

We’ve optimized the game with a targeted quality setting to ensure stable frame rates and smooth bike handling. In racing titles, motion sickness stems mainly from input lag—the delay between control inputs and headset rendering. This often results from demanding physics simulations that require rock-solid frame rates for comfort.

The PS VR2 version features exclusive enhancements including upgraded bike models, an animated skybox, more realistic asphalt, animated crowds with flags and flares, plus other improvements. New structures and props adorn refreshed circuits, alongside fully 3D trees, grass, and terrain transitions (e.g., gravel to sand and back).

There’s more! VRider SBK on PS VR2 adds two new tracks: Estoril and Cremona, expanding the circuit roster. The game supports PS VR2 trophies and fully customizable visual quality presets. Single-player mode now hosts up to 23 riders per track simultaneously. How incredible is that?

Feel Every Turn: PS VR2 Delivers True Thrills

PS VR2’s computing power lets us bring scenes to life and dramatically heighten racing realism. A new rendering pipeline—compared to initial releases on other platforms—enables vastly improved visual fidelity. Immersion peaks with the inclusion of 22 AI riders representing the full championship lineup. Beating them all to become tournament champion is now a genuine challenge!

Buckle Up. Burn Rubber. Become Legendary.

This project was crafted with passion and love. Core team members include real-world motorcyclists, many with actual racing backgrounds. VRider SBK is our heartfelt tribute to a passion many of us have nurtured since childhood.

Our development team is proudly Italian—Italy being globally renowned for mechanical heritage and motorsport passion. We’ve got stories: from underage Superbike joyrides without licenses, to trading tricked-out bikes, to our Game Director housing three motorcycles (one fully custom) in his garage.

Paraphrasing an industry favorite: at Funny Tales, we invested blood, sweat, and not just pixels, but pure passion for bikes.

The track is yours. Master every turn.
