Registrations are open until next Friday (June 13) for the second edition of the ‘Brasil Tá Pra Game’ award, an initiative by Embratur (Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion) in partnership with Abragames (Brazilian Association of Game Developers). The award recognizes and values digital games with the potential to promote Brazil through culture and tourism, with prizes of up to R$70,000.
The project aims to strengthen the role of games as soft power tools, highlighting productions that showcase Brazil’s sounds, landscapes, stories, and characters. The initiative also drives the development of the creative economy, positioning the country as a global reference for cultural innovation in the electronic games sector.
In addition to promoting Brazilian culture, the Brasil Tá Pra Game award represents a concrete opportunity to encourage creative talents, foster domestic tourism, and expand the international presence of the Brazilian game industry – an expanding market that already moves billions and places Brazil among the world’s most promising.
