Publisher Atari and developer Fabraz have announced Bubsy 4D for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG). The release date has yet to be announced.

The world’s most famous flippant feline returns in 3D with new challenges, moves, and even more personality—in space! Run, jump, glide, and roll through alien planets, battle robotic sheep, and collect tons of yarn balls. What could possibly go wrong?
Bubsy’s eternal enemies, the wool-obsessed Woolies, have stolen all the sheep on Earth. What does Bubsy have to do with this? Nothing—until the sheep rebelled against their captors and returned as deadly BaaBots, armed with Woolie technology and determined to steal Bubsy’s most prized treasure: his golden yarn ball.
With help from his crew of associates, Bubsy must journey through space to defeat the BaaBots and reclaim his golden yarn. Fortunately, he’s learned new abilities to navigate expansive craft-themed levels. Bubsy can jump, glide, wall-climb with his claws, and attack enemies. He can also curl into a furball to roll at breakneck speeds.
Fabraz designed these mechanics to appeal to both newcomers and speedrun addicts. Once you’ve mastered Bubsy’s slick new moves, flaunt your skills by posting your best stage times to the online leaderboards and challenge other players!
