The Game Bakers has released a new trailer for the survival climbing adventure game Cairn, introducing its “Free Solo Mode.”
“True to its name, Free Solo Mode puts players on the wall without pitons and without a rope. Any fall could be fatal, and if you die, it’s back to square one. Every movement on the rockface, every meter climbed, carries high-stakes tension across hours of ascending toward the summit. With your backpack stripped down to the bare essentials, survival and inventory management become even more challenging. This mode targets players seeking to test themselves and experience the extreme tension real free solo climbers face on the wall,” states the description.
Cairn releases for PS5 and PC via Steam on November 5.
