Bloober Team (Silent Hill 2 Remake) has released a new gameplay trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn, their upcoming third-person survival horror game set in a dark world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futuristic technology.

Cronos: The New Dawn offers a haunting journey through time and terror. Set across two eras—a decaying future and 1980s Poland—players are thrust into a world inspired by the real Kraków district of Nowa Huta, where survival means bending time itself. You play as a Traveler, an agent of the mysterious Collective, emerging from a dystopian future to dive through time and rescue people before they perish in the apocalypse. While exploring a world on the brink of annihilation, you’ll encounter grotesque enemies known as the Orphans.

The new gameplay trailer reveals intense survival moments within the Orphans’ nest, offering a closer look at these terrifying creatures. The Orphans are twisted, horrifying monstrosities born from humanity’s darkest nightmares. The trailer showcases their behavior—exceptionally aggressive and relentless—turning every encounter into a desperate fight for survival. Most importantly, players must prevent them from merging. As previously shown, defeated enemies must be burned immediately. Otherwise, they risk being absorbed by other enemies, triggering a fusion that creates an even stronger and faster foe.
Exploring the Twisted Realms of New Dawn
Additionally, the thrilling new trailer reveals part of a mysterious Predecessor’s story—Traveler ND 3500—and their enigmatic travel journal. Players will journey through disturbing post-apocalyptic environments inspired by the actual Polish district of Nowa Huta, where decaying brutalist architecture is twisted by reality-bending anomalies.
Cronos: The New Dawn is set to launch this spring for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
