Electronic Arts launches today the third season of live service content for EA SPORTS F1 25, the official game of the FIA Formula One World Championship.
Running from September 17 to November 11, Season 3 celebrates the Haas F1 Team’s tenth anniversary on the grid with a series of celebratory events and challenges, while delivering some of the most requested content and updates from players, including F2 2025, a comprehensive Sporting Update, and the season’s second Driver Ratings update.
The Haas anniversary content in Season 3 highlights one of the sport’s most determined teams, giving players the chance to relive and even rewrite key moments from Haas’ first decade in Formula 1 — from the joy of scoring points on their debut in Australia in 2016, to the unforgettable double top-5 finish in Austria in 2018. Each challenge rewards fans with themed Haas team liveries and helmets, with an exciting Pro Challenge still to come. To coincide with Haas’ home race at the Circuit of the Americas, a free play weekend will run from October 16-20, allowing new players to experience the full game while existing fans enjoy Double XP boosts.
Beyond Haas, the next generation of talent takes center stage with the arrival of F2 2025 in the game, featuring all 11 teams, 22 drivers, and the full 14-race calendar. Season 3 also brings the cars and liveries of the ten F1® teams closer to their real-world counterparts with the Sporting Update. From revised aerodynamics to updated sponsor placements, the changes help keep fans immersed in the sport as the season unfolds.
The latest Driver Ratings, which consider recent race performances from Belgium to Monza plus insights from an expert panel, capture the key changes on the grid. Max Verstappen’s flawless victory at Monza lifts him back to an overall rating of 94, while Gabriel Bortoleto’s consistency with Sauber earns him four more points, bringing him to 78. Fernando Alonso reaches 89 after rediscovering his form, while Carlos Sainz drops to 84 following a string of costly incidents. The full Driver Ratings will be revealed tomorrow on the official website.
EA SPORTS F1 25 is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
