SNK has announced that the DLC character Joe Higashi is available in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
Additionally, a new ranked system has also been added.

A legendary Muay Thai fighter with kicks that can bend steel. No other kickboxer can lay a finger, elbow, or knee on Joe Higashi, so he sets his sights on another challenge: the big screen! His documentary-style biopic, The Legend of Joe (directed by none other than Cheng Sinzan), is already filming in South Town; Joe even foresees a small role for his prodigy disciple Preecha, whose recent tournament triumphs have made her master proud.
New stories in Arcade Mode and EdST (South Town Episodes)!
In Arcade Mode, Joe and Cheng Sinzan work on filming ‘The Legend of Joe,’ a movie based on the Muay Thai master’s brilliant life. Meanwhile, EdST mode shows Joe walking through town reminiscing about how he met his prodigy disciple, Preecha.
Joe Higashi is the third DLC character of Season Pass 1, included in the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Special Edition. He joins Andy Bogard and Ken Masters, already available in-game, and will be accompanied by Chun-Li and Mr. Big later, completing the season’s five fighters. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is only available as a Special Edition with no plans to sell the base game and Season Pass 1 separately, technically making all DLC free.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves was released on April 24, 2025, for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).
