Today, a special edition of the concert “A New World: intimate music from FINAL FANTASY” was announced as one of the main attractions of this year’s Brasil Game Show, the largest gaming event in the Americas. Fans of SQUARE ENIX games and FINAL FANTASY VII will have one more reason to get excited, as it will be the orchestra’s first performance in Brazil, at BGS, on October 9 and 10.
“A New World” features arrangements of songs that have marked generations of fans of the franchise, which has been a success for over three decades. At BGS, memorable tracks from FINAL FANTASY VII, as well as other famous songs from the franchise, will be presented to the public.
Conceived by the same producers behind the phenomenon “Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY,” the orchestra will perform iconic themes honoring the game FINAL FANTASY VII (including FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE and FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH), as well as other famous songs from the series.
FINAL FANTASY VII and the FINAL FANTASY franchise as a whole will be a highlight of the event, as director Naoki Hamaguchi, who gained worldwide recognition for his work on FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, has also confirmed his attendance at Brasil Game Show. A self-declared fan of the series, he began his career in the gaming industry in the 2000s, when he was part of the programming team for various projects, including the FINAL FANTASY XIII trilogy. After leading the MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY project, Hamaguchi took on the role of co-director for FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE and later directed FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, a critically acclaimed game that has received over 125 perfect reviews.
Brasil Game Show 2025 will take place from October 9 to 12 at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo and marks a new phase of the event. This year’s fair will occupy all five pavilions of the modern space with major advances for the experience of exhibitors and the public.
