– Story
Ivalice, a kingdom blessed by the light of the gods and ruled by Two-headed Lion. One year after defeat by Ordallia in the Fifty Years’ War, the king succumbed to illness, leaving a mere two-year-old boy to assume the throne.
Whoever was named regent would be the true ruler, sparking a rivalry between two candidates: Dukes Goltanna and Larg, whose wartime deeds earned them great renown. Goltanna, the Black Lion, and Larg, the White Lion, were destined to clash in what would become known as the War of the Lions.
Enter Ramza, third son of the military-royal House Beoulve, and his childhood friend Delita, a commoner raised among nobles. As they seek their place in this turbulent era, a powerful current drags them toward an abyss.

Tame Chocobos and other creatures to fight alongside you.

The Enhanced Edition features upgraded graphics, full voice acting, and refined gameplay – the ideal way to experience Ivalice. Dedicated battle mechanics tuning and the accessible “Squire” difficulty make this perfect for newcomers.
The Classic Edition preserves the 1997 original’s graphics and gameplay, paired with War of the Lions’ acclaimed localization for an authentic trip through this beloved classic.
