In the near future, an experimental attempt to harness Earth’s core power ends in catastrophic failure: the release of the Sludge God, a supernatural abomination that begins terraforming the area, turning soil into toxic sludge and the living into undead monsters. However, the mastermind behind the experiment has a plan to fix everything. They just need a team of skilled, highly-trained mercenaries for the job… Unfortunately, that team charged too much, so they hired…
