Developer Light Brick and publisher Annapurna Interactive revealed during Summer Game Fest the title LEGO Voyagers, a new cooperative game focused on the experience of being an authentic LEGO brick. The game will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. No exact release date has been confirmed yet, but the game is expected to arrive “soon”.
LEGO Voyagers is described as a two-player cooperative adventure centered on “bricks, friendship, and play”. Players will embark on an exciting mission to rescue an abandoned spaceship, learning the true value of connection along the way.
The game’s core concept lets players experience life as a LEGO brick. This means they’ll be able to “fall, jump, snap, and build their way through rich brick worlds”. The gameplay promises a playful exploration of LEGO bricks’ physical and interactive possibilities, transforming creative building into a unique gaming experience.
