Bandai Namco revealed this week that Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition will launch as a pre-order bonus for Little Nightmares III.
However, the company confirmed on its official website that owners of the original game will get Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition at no additional cost on October 10.
It remains unclear whether PlayStation Plus users who claimed the game (Little Nightmares was one of August 2022’s monthly games) will qualify for the upgrade. But we believe they will.

Little Nightmares III
1. When does Little Nightmares III release?
Little Nightmares III launches October 10, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
2. How does the co-op mode work?
In Little Nightmares III, co-op is online only, requiring internet connectivity.
To maximize accessibility, a Friend Pass will be available at launch on supported platforms. This allows two players to share a single game copy for co-op in Little Nightmares III.
Once starting a co-op campaign with specific players, you must complete it with them—switching between solo and co-op isn’t possible within the same save file. However, you may start new saves with different friends or play solo. Eight save slots will be available.
3. Does online co-op support crossplay?
Crossplay works within the same manufacturer ecosystem (PS4⇄PS5, XB1⇄XSX, NSW⇄NSW2). Cross-manufacturer play is unsupported.

4. What editions are available?
Brazilian launches include:
- Standard: Base game only.
- Deluxe: Includes “Secrets of The Spiral” Expansion Pass (two post-launch bonus chapters + “The Ferryman” costume bundle). Also includes “The Residents” costume pack.
