In a recent interview with Stephen Totilo of Game File (via Kotaku), PlayStation’s Vice President of Global Services, Nick Maguire, discussed the PS Plus plan.
One interesting point in the conversation is that he revealed the 10 most popular PS Plus Extra games. Check out the list below:

- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- The Last of Us Part I
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
- UFC 5
As stated in the title, this list has no specific order, meaning it doesn’t imply God of War: Ragnarok is the most popular.
It’s interesting to note that nearly half are Sony first-party games, which the company precisely doesn’t intend to offer at launch. For Sony, the current policy of waiting at least one year before adding PlayStation first-party titles to PS Plus is working well. “We’ve stayed true to our strategy across the board, where we don’t aim to launch games day and date,” Maguire told Totilo.
In case you missed it, the July 2025 PS Plus Essential games were announced today (25th).
