Developed by Build A Rocket Boy and published by IO Interactive, MindsEye launched this week for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. However, the release has been an absolute disaster.
The game is being criticized for multiple bugs, including more serious issues like crashes, across all platforms. The video below shows a compilation of the most viral bugs on social media.
However, the worst came today: some streamers were scheduled to host sponsored broadcasts of the game, but ended up canceling their streams at the publisher’s request. A viral video shows streamer ‘CohhCarnage’ aborting his livestream after email notification that they wanted to pause the broadcast.

This isn’t an isolated case. In the compilation below at 3:41, you can see streamer SodaPoppin attempting to launch the game but failing after a crash.
The publisher and developer have yet to comment, but it’s increasingly likely we’ll see scenarios similar to Cyberpunk 2077 (including removal from digital storefronts like the PS Store for eventual re-release).
