Publisher Atari and developer Digital Eclipse have announced physical editions of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection for PlayStation 5, Xbox, Switch 2, and PC.
Additionally, Mortal Kombat Trilogy has been confirmed as one of the games in the collection. Originally released in 1996 as the definitive version of the series up to that point, the trailer clarifies that the PS1 version is being included (it’s currently unknown if the Nintendo 64 version will also be present).
Attendees at EVO 2025 this weekend will be able to play the collection for the first time at Atari’s dedicated booth on the show floor.
Pre-orders for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection physical editions, scheduled for release on December 12, are currently available through the Atari Store. The following editions are offered:
- Standard Edition
- Price: $49.99 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series/Xbox One and Switch; $59.99 on Switch 2 (game on cartridge)
- Test your might with the physical edition of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, combining multiple classic series entries with Digital Eclipse’s interactive documentary format. As a special bonus, this version includes exclusive cover art available only to fans who pre-order. Choose either the Standard Edition cover or one of four ninja-themed covers exclusively at atari.com.
- Deluxe Edition
- Price: $69.99 on PlayStation 5 and Switch; $79.99 on Switch 2 (game on cartridge)

- Kollector’s Edition

Currently, there’s no confirmation on whether the digital version will also launch on December 12 or arrive earlier – such as September 29 or 30 (as the Xbox store had previously indicated).
